The Netherlands [ENA] The next NATO summit will take place in The Hague, Netherlands, on June 24 and 25, 2025. The city will welcome world leaders, ministers, experts, youth representatives, and scholars for discussions focused on global peace and security. The summit is expected to cover a range of pressing topics, including the ongoing Russia–Ukraine war and the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

On the first day of the summit, various forums will take place where participants will debate and exchange views on peace and international security. A key event will be the high-level debate titled "Innovation, Cooperation, and Strengthening Industry", featuring defense ministers, policy experts, and representatives of the defense industry. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is scheduled to meet with delegations from the European Union and Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also expected to deliver a keynote speech. The day will conclude with an informal dinner hosted by the King and Queen of the Netherlands for the attending heads of state and government.

The second day of the summit will focus on high-level meetings among NATO member states’ leaders. Discussions will center on the challenges currently facing the alliance. Similar to the first day, open dialogue sessions are planned to encourage transparency and cooperation. Bilateral and multilateral meetings between individual member states are also expected to take place throughout the summit. NATO was founded in 1949 and currently has 32 member states. The Netherlands has been a member since the alliance's inception. The current NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, is Dutch and served as the Prime Minister of the Netherlands before assuming his current role.
